IT Infrastructure Program Manager Remote

m/w/d, Basel-Stadt

For our client, a leading company in the Biotech field, we are currently looking for an IT Infrastructure Program Manager

Remote (Travelling once in a month to Basel or Visp)

Tasks and responsibilities:

Plan, initiate, and manage IT infrastructure programs, including data center operations, cloud migrations, network upgrades, and enterprise IT systems implementations.
Define program scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop detailed project schedules, risk management plans, and resource allocation strategies.
Monitor and report on program performance, using KPIs to track progress and ensure timely delivery.
Technical Leadership
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS).
Ensure robust architecture and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a liaison between technical teams, business units, and external vendors to ensure alignment on program objectives.
Communicate project updates, risks, and issues effectively to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Drive decision-making and resolve conflicts to maintain program momentum.
Vendor and Resource Management
Manage vendor relationships, including RFPs, contracts, and performance evaluations.
Allocate resources efficiently across multiple concurrent projects.
Ensure optimal utilization of team capabilities, providing mentorship and guidance as needed.
Risk and Compliance
Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks proactively.
Ensure compliance with IT governance policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements

Your Profile:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Expertise in IT infrastructure architecture, including data center operations projects, technical projects experience
Hands-on experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
Experience in highly regulated industry projects (Parmaceutical, Chemical etc)
English fluent, German would be a plus
