Security & System Engineer - Linux

For our client in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced, motivated, and open-minded ICT System Engineer (Linux).

You are a Senior Security & System Engineer with experience in Linux server management, PKI, and working in a regulated environment. You see taking responsibility for systems and data with a high security classification as a
positive challenge.

You are passionate about operations and ready to support the team with your expertise.

You enjoy analysing problems and driving solutions forward.

Your tasks:

Operate and maintain the PKI and signing environment in accordance with the regulatory frameworks and standards
Facilitate and accompany external audits of the environments together with the ISO
Support 2nd level and development team for troubleshooting and implementation of new releases
Troubleshooting (3rd level support) and incident management (on-call) (Log analysis; Communication with
2nd level and vendors)
On-call / Pikett duty
Linux server management (RedHat) (Deploying patches and updates; standard virtualization)
Automation (Deployment, configuration management; Puppet, Ansible)
Security (Implementing security best practices)
Application operation
Collaboration with external teams
Hardware management (Installation; Maintenance, exchange of components)

Your profile:

You are a Senior Security & System Engineer with at least several years of experience, including Linux server management (RHCE or equivalent experience)
Experience working in a regulated environment
Solid knowledge of PKI, HSM, and electronic signatures
Strong troubleshooting skills (log analysis, 3rd level support, incident management)
Skills Nice to have: Knowledge of TCP/IP, Web application firewalls, Automation, deployment and config management, Web/application servers
Good Level of English (B2-C1), German skills are an advantage.
