We are hiring an Embedded Instrument Control Software Tester for an exciting 12-month assignment with a leading company in Zug, Switzerland. In this role, you will collaborate in an agile environment with hardware, software, and system experts to ensure the reliability of advanced embedded systems.
Job Summary:
Are you an experienced software tester with a passion for ensuring quality in complex systems? Our client, a leading organization in Rotkreuz, Switzerland, is looking for an Embedded Instrument Control Software Tester to join their innovative team. This role offers the chance to work in an agile environment, collaborate with multidisciplinary experts, and contribute to high-impact projects.
What You’ll Do:
- Test software functionalities and their interaction with hardware and the overall system
- Plan, create, and execute test cases based on product and technical requirements
- Analyze data, logs, and results to identify issues and provide actionable insights
- Track bugs and verify fixes to enhance system reliability
- Support troubleshooting for R&D and production teams
What We’re Looking For:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or software engineering (or a related field)
- At least 5 years of experience in software development and testing, ideally in hardware-related environments
- Proven expertise in test automation, programming, and mechatronics
- Strong knowledge of Linux in professional settings
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); German is a plus
