Dr. Elena D'Cruz

Elena D'Cruz is Marketing & Communications Manager at Coopers Group AG. She is involved in branding and marketing projects and oversees the communication channels like the Coopers blog and all social media outlets. 

Elena studied economics and subsequently got her PhD in the field of marketing from the HSG St.Gallen. Besides her marketing expertise, she is also equipped with recruitment experience since she has worked as an Account Manager at an international recruiting agency before joining Coopers.

Funfacts about Elena

As a child, Elena wanted to work at a kiosk just to be at the source for chocolate. The job did not happen, but she has kept her weakness for chocolate (a Sunday is not a real Sunday without pain au chocolat). For the remaining weekend, she loves to be out and about with family and friends, enjoys a home-cooked meal and a nice glass of wine in the evening. Elena is always up for a joke, laughs a lot and loves ballet. She has lost her heart to San Francisco, in part because of its many facets, the perfect mix of city-beach-landscape and the laid-back lifestyle. To add a little relaxation to her daily life, Elena opts for a run in the woods, yoga and wine (sorted by ascending priority).
