At Coopers Group AG, relationships are the foundation of our success. To connect and reflect on the past year with our valued stakeholders, we continued iET’s long-standing tradition of hosting informal five fondue nights. These evenings have been a wonderful opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations, strengthen bonds, and show our appreciation for the collaboration and trust we share with our clients and partners.

Last week, we held the final fondue dinner of the season – a night filled with laughter, lively discussions, and the unmistakable aroma of melted Swiss cheese.

Time to Connect In Real Life

The cheese fondue nights were a delightful way to connect with our stakeholders, who joined us from across Switzerland. Guests included esteemed clients from companies such as Migros, Zurich Insurances, Swiss Air, Cembra, Helsana, and others, as well as external employees who traveled from cities like Bern and Basel to join us in Zurich.

The setting was kept intentionally intimate, with a small group of participants, to ensure meaningful engagement. One evening, the guest list exclusively featured IT procurement experts, who also attended our IT Procurement Day (more details here). Representing the Coopers Group, sales managers, members of the management team, and Talent Acquisition Specialists joined and contributed to the warm and welcoming environment.

There was plenty of opportunity to connect on a deeper level – whether to exchange insights, share industry trends, or simply enjoy the good company.

A personal reflection

Adrian Stan, Head of Account Management, was a leading force in organizing the fondue nights. Here is his personal reflection on the event series:

"For me, it is always a joy to step away from the everyday business routine, engage in conversations with our clients in a relaxed atmosphere, and focus on personal exchanges – a central part of Coopers' corporate culture."

A Memorable Series of Evenings

Adrian beautifully summarized the purpose and impact of these events:

"Over five consecutive Wednesdays, we closed out the year with a special customer fondue in a small, intimate setting. The unique atmosphere provided ideal conditions to thank approximately 100 stakeholders for their collaboration and engage in relaxed conversations. The feedback was consistently positive, and our host contributed significantly to the success of the evenings. We intend to continue this valuable tradition at Coopers and are already looking forward to the coming year."

Thanks to the enthusiasm of our guests, the fondue nights consistently received positive feedback. From kind words of appreciation to the clinking of glasses filled with wine, beer, and other beverages, the atmosphere was always vibrant and full of warmth. The success of these events speaks not only to the power of tradition but also to the value of prioritizing personal connections in business.

These tailored gatherings allowed for focused conversations about challenges, solutions, and opportunities within IT Procurement, an industry where we are proud to be a trusted partner.

While this season’s cheese fondue nights have concluded, our commitment to fostering strong, relationship-focused partnerships remains unwavering. We will continue to seek innovative ways to engage with our stakeholders, strengthen ties, and celebrate our shared goals.
