Coopers’ Recap 2024: Human­ity in the Spotlight

2024 leaves us with plenty of memories – made in daily work life, in projects or during team excursions and events. These memories have one thing in common: they revolve around people – our partners, friends, and the Coopers team. Humanity is at the center of everything we do, so that is what we want to share with you in our annual recap.

2024 marks the first year together following the acquisition of iET by Coopers. While other companies often take years to grow together after a merger, we built common ground in no time. Processes were harmonized, synergies exploited, and, at the same time, the best of both worlds was preserved.

Lukas Limacher, who previously worked at iET, sums it up: “It's great to see how the two teams have grown together and how we have now successfully mastered many aspects of the integration. It makes me proud to deliver a professional service to clients, contractors, and suppliers, and we are working tirelessly to improve ourselves constantly.”

This development shows that true integration is based on trust, good communication, and a strong team spirit – and we have demonstrated this impressively this year.

In 2024, we were once again able to offer our clients the best of both worlds: At a national level, we were voted as one of the Best Recruiters in Switzerland for the seventh time in a row. This recognition confirms our dedication to excellence in recruiting – a team effort.

As a Swiss Talentor International Partner, we have strengthened our global collaboration and gained new impetus for international projects: At the Talentor Partner Meeting in Vienna in March and at the Annual Summit in Warsaw in September. We discussed future-relevant recruiting topics with our partners and strengthened our global network. It is precisely these connections that enable us to bring talented people together with the right companies worldwide.

The summer at Coopers was characterized by personal encounters. At our summer apéros in Zurich, Basel, and Bern, we enjoyed inspiring conversations in a relaxed setting. Special thanks go to our partners and clients, who enriched these events with their participation and warmth.

A real milestone was the IT Procurement Day 2024 that we organized. Following the motto From Purchasers. For Purchasers., we created an interactive platform that brought IT procurement experts together. First-class presentations and fruitful discussions turned this day into a complete success with a throughout positive response. We look forward to the next IT Procurement Day on June 18, 2025.

Internally, things were quite sporty this year: we covered almost 4,000 kilometers together in the bike to work campaign – a strong sign of sustainability and team spirit. By the way: In addition to our recertification in quality management (9001-2015), we also received a certification for environmental management (14001-2015) in 2024. Highlight of the summer was our team event on Lake Zurich. We paddled, cheered, and laughed at the dragon boat race – moments that further strengthened the team spirit at Coopers.

How much Swiss cheese ended up in our caquelons remains a mystery. One thing is certain: It was plenty and very tasty. At our fondue evenings in Zurich, we were able to look back on the past year in a cozy atmosphere together with partners and clients. This tradition is not only a culinary delight, but also a wonderful opportunity to deepen personal contacts and gather new ideas for the future.

The festive finale was our Christmas party in Basel. Following the motto Red-and-Green-Christmas-Chic, everyone came together to (once again) enjoy a delicious cheese fondue, to exchange our secret-santa-gifts, and to dance. It was an exuberant evening and a special moment that made us realize how quickly two teams had become one. That is exactly what the Coopers spirit is all about – and we toasted to that.

In addition to the major milestones, there were also many small moments that enriched 2024. Our team recorded their personal highlights in a Wordle: The Christmas party, the team events, and the summer aperos were at the top of the list. But professional successes and personal development were also appreciated.

This Wordle shows what Coopers is all about: An exceptional team that grows (together). And together, we will continue to master all challenges in 2025 and celebrate our successes as a team. We look forward to this and would like to thank all our employees for their commitment and energy.
