IT OT Quality System Engineer

Background:

Information (IT) and Automation Technology (OT) teams are key in producing and delivering medicine to patients. The organization is currently undergoing a transformation towards digitalization, advancing fundamental elements to meet future needs, such as leveraging new technologies.
You as a Quality System Engineer will be responsible for various Windows upgrade, migration and rollout projects in the laboratory and manufacturing area. 
The perfect candidate has a completed apprenticeship in IT and experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes. Also we are looking for someone with proven experience in managing system rollouts and migrations at both client and server levels.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Planning and executing migrations and rollouts of Windows clients and servers in the lab and manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) departments.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during and after the migration process.
• Document migration processes and provide training to end-users or other IT teams.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external policies and standards.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements such as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and other relevant regulations.
• Coordination of End User groups and escalation management as required.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of hardware, software, and services necessary for the migration project.

Your Profile:

• Completed apprenticeship in IT or a related field, or an equivalent qualification 
• In-depth understanding of business processes related to laboratory and manufacturing systems. 
• Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and proficiency in using support tools for request and change management. 
• Strong background in systems administration and support for laboratory and manufacturing systems.
• Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, client operating systems and databases.
• Proven experience in managing system rollouts and migrations at both client and server levels.
• Basic knowledge of Computerized System Validation (CSV).
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals.
• Fluency in both German and English, both spoken and written, is essential.
