Madalina Poenaru works as Talent Acquisition Specialist in our Life Sciences Team in Basel. She supports the recruiting process in actively sourcing and briefing suitable candidates for contracting positions.

Madalina studies Business Law in London, UK and worked in various roles before joining Coopers. What they all had in common was a close interaction and making connections with people. A few years ago, Madalina found that recruiting is the perfect fit for her, that lets her focus on helping others thrive.  She brings valuable experience in life sciences recruiting to our team.

Madalina loves nature. It is where she finds calm and can ease her mind. Given the choice between the beach and the mountains, she would opt for the latter. So it is no surprise that hiking is one of her favorite hobbies. Her desired superpower to teleport would come in handy to explore many of nature’s wonders and to meet up with people more easily. On a perfect Sunday, you find Maddy cooking something delicious and winding down watching some TV. She might be humming Jon Bon Jovi’s smash hit It’s my life while stirring the pot, as this is the song she would sing on a karaoke night.
