Data Engineer - Python & SQL

m/w/d, Zürich Grossraum

For our client in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced, motivated, and open-minded Data Engineer - Python & SQL. Fully remote within Serbia, Portugal, Germany and Switzerland possible.

Your Tasks:

Help clients make their data business- or operations-ready
Design, test, and monitor distributed data processing pipelines
Work closely with data scientists in the creation of machine learning models
Perform performance and cost estimations for various use cases
Develop and create meaningful dashboards to visualize processed data

Your Profil:

Several years of experience as a data engineer
Proficiency in Python and SQL
Hands-on experience or a strong interest in technologies such as Hadoop, Apache Spark, Hive, Airflow, RDBMS, NoSQL, DevOps, Kubernetes
Knowledge in Java or .NET
Good understanding of large public cloud environments such as AWS, MS Azure, or Google’s GCP
Proficiency in English is mandatory, German language skills are a plus
