Payroll Specialist

m/w/d, Basel-Stadt

Join our client's dynamic HR team as a Payroll Specialist in Basel. In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring accurate payroll processing and compliance with legal, tax, and social security regulations. Key Responsibilities:

Verify and manage all payroll-related entries in SAP, ensuring compliance with legal and company policies.
Support external service providers in payroll and time management operations.
Prepare certificates and reports for family allowances, insurance claims, and other benefits.
Act as the main contact for payroll, tax, and social security queries.
Monitor and update changes in SAP, including accident recording and daily allowance entries.
Manage Time and Attendance (T&A) issues and perform time corrections in ATOSS.
Administer garnishments and calculate holiday reductions for long-term absences or unpaid leave.

What You Bring:

A commercial education degree, ideally with advanced HR qualifications.
Strong expertise in payroll, T&A (Time and Attendance) systems, and SAP (knowledge of Workday and ATOSS is a plus).
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent communication skills in German and English (French is a bonus).
