At Coopers, it's important for us to stay on top of the latest recruiting trends. To provide the best possible service to our candidates and clients, we focus on continuous learning and knowledge sharing among our Talent Acquisition (TA) team members, who come together monthly for the TA Circle. Our internal training program not only promotes the newest sourcing trends but also encourages cross-departmental collaboration to foster learning and growth.

Better Together: Teamwork and Collaboration

 Thanks to the TA Circle, our teams from different locations regularly exchange ideas. The circle provides an informal space for them to learn from one another, share experiences, and develop new approaches. This open exchange enables us to offer our candidates and clients the best possible solutions. 

Sharing Knowledge, Strengthening Skills

Currently, we are running a three-part training series organized by our colleagues Alessia Biassoli and Ilona Capper. This series consists of three interactive sessions, allowing our team to deepen their knowledge and apply it in real-world scenarios. A particular highlight is the exchange between senior and junior recruiters, where valuable experiences are shared, and new insights are gained. 

In the first session in September, the focus was on understanding client requirements in talent acquisition and identifying suitable candidates. Group exercises and role-playing helped participants practice matching candidates to roles in a hands-on way. 

Building on that, October’s second session focused on presenting candidates successfully to clients, including candidate briefings and interview preparation. In a role-play setting, recruiter-candidate conversations were simulated and later analyzed as a group. 

Session 3 is coming soon and will focus on "Entrepreneurship." Our team members are encouraged to develop innovative ideas and actively bring them into their daily work. This mindset helps us stay flexible and agile in the dynamic recruiting market.
