Procurement Project Manager

Join our client’s dynamic team as a Procurement Project Manager (m/f/d) and drive impactful projects in the area of Diagnostics Direct Procurement. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead global sourcing, benchmarking, and digital procurement initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a highly regulated, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement project plans, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and objectives
- Lead global sourcing and benchmarking projects, leveraging digital tools like eAuctions
- Drive collaboration across internal and external stakeholders to improve procurement processes
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to meet project goals
- Continuously assess and optimize procurement operations for efficiency and cost savings
- Utilize modern digital procurement technologies to streamline processes
Qualifications:
- University degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or Life Sciences
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain, with measurable results in strategic sourcing and cost reduction, preferably within global Pharma or Medical area
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using tools like Tableau, Qlikview, or SAP
- Strong background in strategic sourcing and supplier management in new product development and introduction in the medical device/pharmaceutical industry, or other highly regulated industry
- 3+ years of project management experience including risk management, project reporting, and delivering quantitative and qualitative results in complex environments
- Proven experience in supplier management and strategic sourcing in regulated industries
- Device manufacturing company experience
- Experience with enterprise systems (SAP, Oracle) and procurement / procure-to-pay tools such as (e.g. GEP, Ariba, Emptoris, SAP)
