Join our client's dynamic PRED Pharmaceutical Sciences team in Basel as a Genetics & Genomics Lab Research Associate! You'll drive biomarker discovery by developing and implementing cutting-edge genomic assays, contributing to groundbreaking therapeutic advancements. This role offers a chance to work hands-on with advanced technologies in an innovative environment.

Ihre Aufgaben:

 

  • Develop & Implement Genomic Assays: Create and validate biomarker assays (e.g., NGS, qPCR, ddPCR) to support pre-clinical and early-phase clinical trials.
  • Leverage Advanced Technologies: Apply cutting-edge tools like single-cell sequencing and spatial-omics to analyze valuable clinical samples, adhering to Roche GCP standards.
  • Data Delivery & Collaboration: Provide high-quality biomarker data to cross-functional teams, train colleagues on new technologies, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory protocols.
 

 

Ihr Profil:

  • Educational Background: Master’s degree or higher in molecular biology, biochemistry, or related field.
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with NGS platforms, qPCR, ddPCR, single-cell sequencing, and spatial-omics.
  • Biomarker Expertise: Proven track record in developing, validating, and applying genomic assays across multiple sample types (tissues, liquid biopsies).
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in biomarker assay development within pre-clinical or clinical settings.
  • Strong focus on operational compliance, including sample tracking and data management.
  • Creative problem-solving mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
