Frontend Engineer - React

m/f/d, Zürich

For our client in the banking sector based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced, motivated Frontend Engineer - React to join an exciting project in the Wealth Management domain. 

You will be part of an agile team working on the complete rebuild of a trading platform with a strong focus on user experience, performance, and scalability.

Your tasks:

  • Develop and maintain a high-performance, modern frontend for a new trading application
  • Translate complex business requirements into intuitive and responsive UI components
  • Write clean, testable code and ensure high coverage through automated testing
  • Collaborate closely with backend developers, UX/UI designers, and product owners
  • Take part in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of processes
  • Support in technical decision-making and architecture design

 

Your profile:

  • Several years of hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript with experience in the banking sector
  • Strong understanding of frontend architecture and component-based design
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks, especially Jest
  • Previous involvement in agile software development (e.g., Scrum)
  • Domain knowledge in Banking or Wealth Management is a strong advantage
  • Basic knowledge of Java is a plus
  • Proactive, collaborative, and quality-driven mindset
  • Fluent in English (German is a plus)
