Cells Assay Associate/Scientist

m/w/d, Basel-Stadt

We’re offering a unique opportunity to join a fast-moving team at the forefront of drug discovery. As part of a highly collaborative group of cellular assay scientists and automation experts, you’ll play a hands-on role in designing and executing cutting-edge cellular assays that directly impact high-throughput screening and compound profiling.

This is a perfect fit for someone early in their scientific career who thrives in a lab-based environment and is looking to expand their skills with top-tier technologies and a dynamic team.

Location: Basel (Onsite – Lab Based)
Start Date: June 1st – August 1st (Latest)
Duration: 6-month maternity cover
Workload: 100%

Key Responsibilities:

Execute and optimize cellular assays for hit characterization and compound profiling
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless assay development
Support innovation and smooth transition from assay design to high-throughput screening

Must-Haves:

Apprenticeship, Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a life sciences field
1–3 years of lab experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry
Hands-on expertise in cellular assay techniques: cell culture, multiwell plate assay design, optimization, and troubleshooting
