Senior IT Business Analyst (medical device or pharmaceutical industry)

Are you an experienced Senior Business Analyst looking for a new challenge in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry? Our client, a leader in the sector, is seeking a driven professional to help bridge the gap between IT and business objectives, particularly in the analysis of service management processes.

If you have over 5 years of experience in this space, coupled with strong Service Management and pharmaceutical manufacturing expertise such as fluency in English and German, we’d love to hear from you!

General Information:

  • Start date: ASAP
  • latest Start Date: 15.11.2024
  • Planned duration: Project planned until end of Q1 2025
  • Workplace: Kaiseraugst and Remote (majority of the time remote)
  • Workload: 100%

 

Tasks & Responsibilities:

As an IT Business Analyst you typically undertake a variety of activities that help bridge the gap between IT and business objectives help to ensure that IT projects deliver value to the business and meet the needs of stakeholders effectively.

This includes :

  • Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
    Engaging with stakeholders to identify and capture their requirements.
    Analyzing and documenting business needs to ensure that they are clear, complete, and aligned with business goals.
  • Process Modeling and Improvement:
    Creating process models to document and understand current business processes.
    Identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Solution Design and Validation:
    Working with IT teams to design solutions that meet business requirements and align with technological capabilities.
    Validating solutions through testing, ensuring that they meet specified requirements and function as intended.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Management:
  • Acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring that all parties are kept informed of project progress and changes.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    Preparing detailed documentation of business requirements, process maps, use cases, and other relevant materials.
  • Creating and presenting reports and updates to stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations based on analysis.
  • Your specific responsibility includes:
    Review and evaluation of ServiceNow incidents (INC)
    Establish a knowledge management process to utilize the INC results.

 

Your Profile:

  • 5+ years of experience as Senior Business Analyst in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry
  • Has generalist knowledge about top floor and shop floor processes, data models, IT/OT architectures and systems incl. Integrations
  • Excellent Service Management knowledge
  • Proven experience in pharma manufacturing processes
  • Experience in business partnering, ability to quickly learn new business domains and processes
  • GMP/GxP/CSV experience
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and conflict management skills
  • Analytical, structured, empathic, quality-conscious, target oriented
  • Process design
  • Statistical data evaluation, analysis and presentation
  • Fluent in English AND German (written and spoken)
